What use are they?
Our definition of a Web Directory is usually a small directory run on an equally small web site.
The main function of the directory is to get web users interested in the target web site by having a web directory, usually niched towards the web sites content.
From our point of view and experience running a web directory does not really give our clients a massive benefit as it takes a lot to run one, HOWEVER, getting our clients sites on these directories en mass, now that's another story all together!
